how is it for heat production? doesn't seem to have many holes on the front or back? Also for a vmware cluster wouldn't you just do ESXi & boot from the SD card & store all the guests on the cloud/SAN?

thanks for the comments. Heat production is minimal as it does have very good "channeling" of the interior fans. For VMware cluster usage, I'd definitely be using 3i on the internal SD cards. Currently, I'm booting 3i off of the internal SD card and using the two 73Gb drives for a small datastore while I wait for the CLARiiON to come in. ;) Let me know what other feedback you want on the box and I'll be happy to oblige.
